Merwas offers local creatives and artists direct access to worldly-seasoned expertise, top-tier services, end-to-end solutions, and 22 state-of-the-art studios with other creative spaces in one location, which makes it the first of its kind in the MENA region. Merwas has positioned itself front and center in the MENA entertainment industry, and in less than a year from its launch, it became a destination of all music artists visiting the region, and provided its services to A-list artists from around the world.
Merwas opened its doors in 2022 to be the first “entertainment factory” in the world. The term was coined to convey the comprehensiveness of services provided by Merwas. With a team of seasoned experts in music and entertainment, Merwas supports the Saudi creative community in all of its varieties, and is persistent to build an ecosystem for all local artists. It also focuses on the reservation of the intellectual property rights of Saudi talents to enrich the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Merwas treasures Saudi creativity, and is set to create an environment abundant with knowledge, supportive of talent, and raises awareness of culture, music and entertainment.
Merwas started the journey as an idea from the founders —Nada Al Tuwaijri, Rumayyan Al-Rumayyan—, nourished by the partnership with Sela, for an integrated artistic space, an “entertainment factory” that serves Saudi artists and talents, and the first of its kind in the Middle East. The idea coincided with the tremendous support in promoting Saudi arts, culture, and entertainment from the Saudi Public Investment Fund. Influenced by the great Vision of 2030, Merwas headquarters was officially opened in October 2022.
Merwas provides access to world-renowned experts in music, art and entertainment, with top-tier services, and 22 state-of-the-art studios to serve all artists. The project’s magnitude has awarded Merwas with the Guinness World Record Certificate as the world’s largest music studios. Merwas aspires to be the center of creativity in the Middle East. The founder’s vision aims to empower, develop and nurture Saudi talents, and to reserve their rights, and enrich the artistic culture of Saudi Arabia.
Merwas pursues to support all Saudi and creative communities, and to build an ecosystem for all local artists. The focus on intellectual property rights and its preservation is driven from the will to enrich the culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the empowerment of Saudi citizens and their creativity in an environment of abundant knowledge, supportive of their talents and education in culture, art, entertainment and music.
